Principality Stadium
Built to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup, the Principality Stadium has a capacity of 73,931 and hosts both national rugby and football fixtures alongside other sporting occasions.

Transport
Rail - Regular trains run from Cardiff’s Queen Street Station to Cardiff Bay and city stops including Cathays, Ninian Park and Llandaff North. Trains from Cardiff Central Station link to the Valleys and Vale of Glamorgan as well as high speed links to London and other cities in the UK.
Bus - Cardiff Bus runs an extensive system throughout Cardiff and the local area, with a regular service connecting the city centre with Cardiff Bay. All buses offer contactless payments, alongside multiple fares and ticket types suitable for your needs.
Taxi - There are several taxi ranks located around the city including Cardiff Central Station, Wood Street, Greyfriars Road, Churchill Way, St Mary Street and Mill Lane. The city has both Hackney carriages and private hire taxis. Hackney carriages can be hailed at the roadside.
On Foot - Cardiff is a very compact city and can easily be explored on foot, with the majority of attractions, shops, restaurants and hotels all within a few minutes of each other. You can walk to Cardiff Bay easily, and you can even walk across the barrage through to Penarth.
