The memory is still fresh, still golden. On a dank Twickenham day in 1991, Philippe Saint-Andre finished a length of the field move to score one of the greatest tries of all time. Ah, the French – unpredictable, passionate, gifted. It’s impossible to know what to expect when they come to Twickenham but England will be fully focused and desperate to gain revenge for their defeat in Paris in 2018. Packages for this fixture have now sold out.

Weekend Match Report

England’s opening victory meant that Twickenham Stadium was at full throttle for the visit of France.

England fans made the journey from all over the country – we had more than 20 departure points on the day of the game – while hundreds enjoyed either a one or two night weekend break in London to build up to the match in the best possible way.

Eddie Jones’ team started well and never looked back, putting France to the sword to the delight of a capacity crowd. Jonny May put in another impressive performance, scoring a first-half hat-trick as England’s kicking game completely discombobulated the French defence.

Guided by another powerful pack performance, England strolled to a 44-8 demolition which meant the London weekend experience tasted extra sweet for fans who enjoyed all the sights and sounds of the capital.
