PARTY WITH ENGLAND GREATS IN DUBLIN
England greats Roger Uttley and Mike Teague will join England Rugby Travel clients in an exclusive ‘Legends’ weekend next season. The pair will join fans in Dublin for England’s hugely anticipated clash against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday 10 February in a great new addition to our Ireland weekend breaks.
Both men are synonymous with the white shirt of England. Roger made his debut against Ireland in 1973 and proceeded to coach England to the Rugby World Cup Final of 1991 against Australia.
Teague, a legendary number eight for Gloucester, England and the British & Irish Lions, will join Mike on two charter flights, stay with fans in their hotels and soak up the pre and post match atmosphere in build up in Dublin.
“Ireland has always been my favourite venue in the 6 Nations and would be my choice to visit,” Roger said. “We always have great craic and that is what it’s all about.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the new stadium, because I haven’t been over since that was finished. Irish rugby is fierce but it’s all about the spirit when you go there and that is what I am looking forward to – it’s not just about the game but what goes on around it.”
