HSBC Lions Legends
The HSBC Lions Legends lunches and dinners will take place between November 2008 through to May 2009 and will be in support of the Lions Charitable Trust.
A selection of HSBC Lions Legends lunches and dinners are scheduled to take place between November 2008 and May 2009, in order for Lions supporters to have the opportunity to get close to the Lions stars of the past, and get a feel of what it really means to pull on a Lions shirt from those that have had the experience.
The official series of events are sponsored by HSBC, the principal partner of the British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa in 2009, and will see some of the greatest ever Lions players come together throughout the forthcoming season.
The series of events commence with a dinner at Lord's Cricket Ground on Thursday 20 November, with three of the biggest Lions Legends in attendance in the form of JPR Williams, Lawrence Dallaglio and Jeremy Guscott.
The official series of events are in support of the Lions Charitable Trust, which aims to help the Lions’ former players in need of assistance and to help further the development of the game as a whole, as well as assisting with community projects in the countries visited by the Lions.
