SEMI-FINALS TO FINAL
The Final in Auckland will be a fantastic occasion, the pinnacle of this thrilling Tournament. 24 years after New Zealand hosted and won the first ever Rugby World Cup Final, you can see the lifting of the Webb Ellis Cup in 2011. Couple that with the chance to explore the world’s youngest country, and this really is the trip of a lifetime.
As the Tournament reaches its business end, demand for places in Auckland's Eden Park will be rocketing. You can ensure your place at all four matches as the semi-finals and Finals kick off, with official guaranteed tickets included in all packages.
The first weekend in Auckland sees the two semi-finals take place. Once the match action is over for the weekend, you will have the chance to head off to either Queenstown or Taupo and Rotorua with our Full Travel Packages during the lead up to the Bronze Final and Final.
One of our package options will visit Queenstown, New Zealand's adventure capital. For the enthusiastic traveller, there is just about every activity on offer. However, if you prefer a more gentle pace, there is still plenty to do in this town that nestles on the banks of the beautiful Lake Wakatipu. The other Full Travel Package option will take you to Taupo and Rotorua, probably the cultural hub of New Zealand. You can learn about Maori culture, visit the awe inspiring geysers and mud pools, or relax in the many geothermal pools in the region. Either way, you will get to experience a taster of this amazing country.
Then the closing weekend of the Tournament will come calling, and it's back to Auckland for the climax of the trip, the Rugby World Cup 2011, New Zealand Bronze Final and Final. Those who were there in 1987, 1991, 1999, 2003 and 2007 will remember those days for the rest of their lives, and now you will have some truly unforgettable memories too.
The England Rugby Travel hosted Full Travel Package gives access to our return international flights from the UK, specific named centrally located England Rugby Travel hotels, exclusive local Coach Captain for the duration of your stay, official England Rugby Travel merchandise including the replica team shirt, and much more.
Alternatively, should you wish to make your own hotel and travel arrangements whilst you are in New Zealand, you can select our Explorer package, which will combine your international flight from the UK with match tickets. You can even add a motorhome to your booking to combine somewhere to rest your head with your method of transport around the country! Every single England Rugby Travel package includes guaranteed official match tickets, so you won't miss a moment of the action.
