Game Park (Kruger National Park)

The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.

Game Park (Kruger National Park)

Kruger National Park covers roughly the same area as Wales, and is home to over 140 different species of mammal, over 500 bird species and close to 2,000 different plant species.

Kruger National Park is the biggest in South Africa, and offers visitors a great range of attractions for those who are keen to see the mammals that are native to the South African savannahs, including the ‘big five’; lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and buffalo, along with smaller mammals such as kudus, bonteboks, impalas, nyalas and all of the other animals that the England Rugby Travel tours are named after.

Man's interaction with the Lowveld environment over many centuries - from bushman rock paintings to majestic archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela - is very evident in the Kruger National Park. These treasures represent the cultures, persons and events that played a role in the history of the Kruger National Park and are conserved along with the park's natural assets.
