Cape Town
Cape Town is the third largest city in South Africa, and is the provincial capital of the Western Cape.
Cape Town is one of the world's most beautiful cities, and is a firm favourite with tourists who visit the country. Cape Town boasts a fantastic harbour setting (Victoria & Alfred Waterfront) and such well known landmarks as Cape Point and Table Mountain which can be viewed from the pristine coastline that the city has to offer.
Transportation, hotels, shopping, entertainment and eating out are of a high standard, due to this tourist presence. Cape Town's city centre area is small and the many places of interest are closely situated, making it ideal to explore by foot. Some of the many things to do can be viewed in the ‘what to do’ section.
Cape Town's Victoria and Alfred Waterfront development has grabbed the imagination of both the city residents and visitors to the city. With the beautiful Table Mountain as a backdrop and the unique history of the 'working harbour', this is the place to be. The city is home to the Stormers Super 14 side who play at Newlands Stadium.
