Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a dazzling, dynamic and diverse city, with a distinctive blend of East and West offering sophisticated cultural, shopping and dining experiences. It has contrasts from a bustling centre and harbour through to peaceful parks and surrounding countryside.
Hong Kong is split into many different districts, each offering something different.
There are numerous trips to choose from whilst you're in Hong Kong, running day and night, ranging from harbour visits, trips to the outlying islands and fascinating opportunities to experience the local culture and heritage. You can also explore Hong Kong's countryside by visiting Sai Kung, Hong Kong's 'back garden', go dolphin watching or take a kayaking trip for a distinctive experience!
High above Hong Kong Island on the 'back of the Dragon' is Victoria Peak, Hong Kong's premier visitor attraction, providing magnificent harbour and city views. Arriving late afternoon enables you to experience the dazzling panorama of Hong Kong Island, the harbour, Kowloon and the hills beyond. Later, you can thrill to the neon-dotted skyline by night.
What's more, The Peak offers visitors a multitude of fantastic entertainment, dining and shopping options. The best way to get to the top is via the Peak Tram, a funicular railway that has been in operation from 1888 and carves a steep 373-metre swathe up the mountainside.
