England Rugby Travel, an Official Licensed Operator for the British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa in 2009, is expecting record levels of interest from rugby fans wanting to be part of the tour adventure.
The Lions tour schedule has been announced and England Rugby Travel, the leading sports travel company, has already received phenomenal levels of interest for the tour.
More than 10,000 fans have already registered their interest with England Rugby Travel and the finishing touches are being put to the company's range of official supporter travel packages.

Paul Vaughan, managing director of England Rugby Travel and business operations director at the Rugby Football Union (RFU), said: "The British & Irish Lions tours are very special occasions that happen once every four years. They are truly unique sporting experiences which is why so many supporters want to be part of them.
"The tour to South Africa combines some fascinating rugby encounters in the early stages of the tour with three immense test matches against the Rugby World Cup winners. Mix this up with the chance to enjoy and explore South Africa and you can see why so many fans want to go."
The British & Irish Lions and the South African Rugby Union have agreed on a programme of ten matches for the 2009 Lions Tour to South Africa.
The Lions will play matches in seven cities over a period of six weeks, commencing with a game against the Highveld XV in Rustenburg on Saturday 30 May 2009.
The tour schedule includes six weekend fixtures and four midweek matches. The Test matches against the Springboks will take place on 20 June in Durban, in Pretoria on 27 June and in Johannesburg on 4 July.
England Rugby Travel will be offering a range of official supporter travel packages that will include options covering up to three matches through to experiencing the entire tour over five or six weeks. There will be the chance to go to all test matches as well as the opportunity to experience many areas of South Africa.
